New agriculture needed to salvage world’s water

Film maker Irena Salina sounds a wake-up call to the world's diminished water supply in "Flow - For the Love of Water." Her footage from water-troubled spots around the world and of experts in the field show the urgent need for change to salvage sufficient water resources. The film identifies agriculture as a major culprit, citing high levels of use and pollution due to excessive fertilizer use, and outlines rain harvesting, ground-water recharging and a transition to slam-scale, high-quality agriculture with much more careful husbandry of water resources.
