Natural product on the horizon to curtail cow flatulence

It’s estimated that cow-produced methane accounts for up to 20 percent of worldwide emissions of this major greenhouse gas. A Japanese company hopes to roll out a product by 2011 that will curtail bovine belches (and other such outbursts) by as much as 90 percent. Ingredients include oil extracted from cashew shells.
